Thank you for your post on your blog regarding our company! It looks like a very interesting and informative blog. You are correct that our beds are at a higher price point — it is due to several reasons:

1. As you identified. . the cost of the memory foam. We use 5 lb memory foam which is the highest quality memory foam available on the market today - unlike many other beds.

2. We protect the memory foam with a permanent waterproof/breathable inner liner. This a very expensive fabric. .but protects the memory foam from liquids, stains and odors which can quickly ruin your investment in the memory foam. Plus it keeps the memory foam anti-bacterial, anti-dust mite, hypoallergenic, and dust mite free.

3. Since you are investing in memory foam. . our goal is to make the BEST dog bed possible. . not the cheapest. We buy the best fabrics for the outer covers we can find. The best zippers, thread, etc. Our workmanship standards are set very high as well.

Thanks Debbie for confirming that they are priced the way they are because of quality! I am telling you if you have a dog with arthritis this can be a life saver for them.

OK if you have an older dog or one with arthritis you need to check out Buddy Beds.

I have been searching for tempurpedic type (memory foam) material for dog beds for awhile. While searching online today I found this site. What a great idea if your dog will actually use a bed…LOL.

They are a little pricey, most likely due to the cost of memory foam, but this can definitely help out a sore dog. Your only other choice is to cut out a mattress or mattress covering made out of memory foam. However, these look like high quality products as opposed to butchering a mattress cover.
